Just good people. I don't write reviews, but I am so thankful they helped me out of a jam with a last minute fire inspection for a house sell. Helpful, caring and funny. Not a big box shop, and that's a good thing. Sad that places like this are getting pushed out. Home Depot did not even carry what was needed to pass.
Cruel to amazon parrot in his care. Cage too small. Bird never let out of cage. Improper diet. Not enough toys to play with. No care on Sundays. Please goggle amazon care....none of this is ok!
I have been a steady customer for 20+ years and have always been treated well and I have seen the owners bend over backwards to satisfy customers. The idiots posting about the abuse of the parrot should have their heads examined. That bird is spoiled rotten by the owners, employees, and regular customers. I happened to be in the store when the SPCA came in because of some idiots complaint. They found NO problem with the treatment and housing of the parrot. I have seen other customers bring in toys and if the owners feel that the toys are safe then they thank them. I know that the bird is fed the appropriate food and treats as recommended by the pet store. The cage is plenty big enough for him. Why do people have to cause trouble for good people who provide a needed service. Manny's Hardware Store has everything you need to fix most any issues in the house and yard. I try to shop here always when they are open.
This store has a parrot in a tiny cage far too small for it- does not give appropriate toys, food or out of cage time- this is animal abuse ! Parrots are highly intelligent and need all the above listed things and so much more- this is total animal abuse and the owners statement is "animals draw in money to the business"..he will not change the way he keeps this poor bird! Boycott this animal abuser!
I've been a customer for 30+ Awesome place,friendly and helpful staff. Always say hello to the parrot and he says hello back, lol. Always find what I need. Very easy in and out get what you need.
