Best fish store around. Very helpfull. This guy's are great

As far as malnutrition. When you go to bash a store for it. Did you ever think that they just got the animal in? Did you think that they actually might be healthy and you over feed them, because they are so cute and will eat anytime you offer? FAT AND OVER FED IS NOT HEALTHY NOR A DIET!

Workers were okay to deal with, very nice. But the small animal selection was not healthy to my opinion. They are kept in little fish tanks. There were 2 'dwarf' rabbits and 1 Guinea pig in one glass tank. They were malnourished and I took the bunnies home and after 4 days they are happier and they have grown and gained so much weight just from eating a healthy diet and in a decent temporary cage.

I bought one of my ferrets from there, simply because I couldnt bear the thought of such a sweetie being kept in a fish tank far too small for her and her lying in a puddle of her own excrements. she was malnourished when we brought her home and has since become a very playful, healthy young lady. Today Im here again with a friend and though the "small animal" section is gone, my friend is freaking out because there is a gecko in there that is practically dying of malnutrition, along with a hedgehog whos in a cage much too small. they clearly have learned nothing and I am disgusted with their animal husbandry. The workers at the store seem nice enough to talk to, until you point out the flaws in their care system. awful store. wouldnt support them again.

Seriously, do not buy from this place for fun. The animals there are living in AWFUL conditions and they are extremely malnourished. They have a gecko there that is steps away from starvation and dehydration. If you are looking to buy from this place as a "good" pet store, do not. Go some place else. Only consider buying an animal if you mean to save it from suffering.

Algae blooms happen as much as we don't want them to happen. Take this to the bank from a guy who does a 40% water change every week. Maybe they are like me and care not to use chemicals and go the natural way about it. You don't know and I don't know, but being experienced care takers they probably are going the natural way about it, because sooner or later the problem will be solved. Also 99% of people don't know that some fish actually thrive better in a gunky tank. Especially most freshwater fish.

As far as the owner goes. Good guy. He knows how to care for marine life. I would also like to say thank you for taking the time to talk to me for an hour and a half about what you had and what would work for a tank like mine.

As far as the animals in fish tanks. Well that part I did not see.

From what I seen. I liked what they had for fish and especially the corals. They had good prices. From experience with people that complain about a store with fish getting ick and algae blooms in a tank and blah blah blah.. Listen, I am 100% sure that these people that buy a fish or coral without doing their research of what works for a tank. Is the reason for their fish getting ick or dying. Probably putting a Copper band butterfly fish in a tank with no aiptasia or a Queen Angel in a 30 gallon tank with 5lbs of live rock. It does not work. You want proof their stuff is healthy. They had giant clam species. They were ALL healthy and happy. Anyone that knows signs of good water quality. That is a great place to start for your detective work. Same with their SPS and LPS. ALL the zoanthids were open and healthy.
