Amazing Emergency room service. They have really improved significantly in the last 2 years. I would highly recommend this hospital for their efficiency and professionalism.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Had chest, neck, arm and back pain. They did EKG which was ok, however EKG is not the only thing you look at CK-MB levels?? Had me wait 2 hours, pain got worse and I still waited. I just left....anything happens, you will hear from a lawyer!!
As I had chest pains, so there was no wait at all. Turned out to not find anything but they were thorough and attentive and took me in immediately. ER was clean and organized and the staff all worked well together as a great team. Did not feel a thing when they took blood and put in the IV. HIGHLY recommend this place. Gave me peace of mind so that I could return to our road trip back home to Virginia. Great docs, PAs, nurses, and all supporting staff. Thank you!
My mother has been brought to the ER several times for chronic & severe medical issues in recent months. On all accounts she has waited upwards of 6 hours or more to be admitted. The last time she was in the hospital she was told she had pneumonia & was released anyway. No surprise that she was back there after being home for 4 days. My mother worked at Morton for more than 20 years. If this is how they care for their former employees, imagine how they care for the general public. If your loved ones need care. .. avoid Morton if possible.
Somehow this placed missed a kidney stone that lodged itself and got stuck, causing me to get violently ill. I almost lost a kidney! A whole different hospital in a whole different town found it, and had I waited any longer to seek additional treatment, I would have lost the kidney. The infection got backed up behind the kidney stone, and started seeping into my bloodstream starting the septic infection. I’ve never been so sick in my life, and will avoid returning here and instead drive to the next closest facility. Good luck to anyone who visits here.
