I called Scott and asked him if the vehicle was available and he said it was. I told him that my schedule was very hectic and It's very hard for me to take time off to shop for a vehicle. I drove 40 miles to see a vehicle that was not available!!! I gave him a day notice and made an appointment to see it. Not only I drove far away to see a vehicle at his dealership but I was only running on 4 and a 1/2 hours of sleep. Waste of my time, fuel and sleep. My advice to you Scott would be to communicate with your staff and make sure that the vehicle is in your lot before you make an appointment with people. My experience was very disappointing.
First off, this is a family-run business (which is always a plus in my book), and their pride in their business shows; they treat you like family. Found a nice low mileage car here, had it inspected before buying. Mechanic pointed out a few issues (notably, bad tires and a damp trunk), and Scott was quick to address the issues and didn't just try to pull cheap patch jobs.
Shortly after purchasing the car the check engine light came on; Scott has been on the ball with it. First he had a Toyota master tech look at it, and when the tests came back clear he cleared the code and returned the car to us, asking us to let him know if it came back. Light came on again with the same code so he had us bring it back and is in the process of replacing and testing some components related to the code. Throughout all of this he's maintained great communication with us and even gave us his cell number so we could keep him updated when we took the car back.
UPDATE: So after a couple more times taking the car in, always with great communication, Scott finally replaced the catalytic converter (given the cost of that vs the cost of the various other bits he replaced, along with the likelihood of it actually being the CC, I don't blame him for trying to avoid it). We paid our $100 deductible earlier on in the troubleshooting process when he was replacing sensors, yet when he bit the bullet and swapped out a $500+ part (the car was California origin, so it needed a California CC) he didn't bat an eye -- ate the cost, took care of it, and told us to keep him posted. Three months down the road, and the car is running like a champ, no errors.
TA&TS may not always have the best prices in the area, but their low pressure sales process and excellent post-sales support and communication make it worth every penny.
